Rust and Roots: The Forgotten Necron Dynasty

Painting this Necron army was a fantastic opportunity to explore decay, overgrowth, and eerie glow effects. I imagined a forgotten dynasty, left to rust and slowly overtaken by nature over millennia. Each model was weathered individually, and I added moss, roots, and corrosion effects to reinforce the theme. The glowing blue OSL was the final touch to bring this ancient force back to life—with a haunting, almost spectral presence on the battlefield.

The Necron army I ordered all the way to Australia turned out absolutely fantastic. Every model is painted with incredible care and detail. Communication was great from start to finish, and I couldn’t be happier with the final result. I’m already looking forward to expanding the collection!
